No problem! I toyed with a title of "My Favourite XX Tweets of 2008" initially, but felt it was a bit weak as a headline.

People like lists, and this has certainly gathered a lot of visitors, and has been retweeted a good deal.

I suppose there is scope for a scientific approach to top tweets - those most re-tweeted, but this choice was down to just what I found amusing or noteworthy - something worth re-reading and sharing, in effect.

Some of these are funny but it's a lot to claim that they are the top tweets of the year. Why not just say they are your favorites?

I truly believe you can learn more about people by reading their favorites than by reading their twitter stream. Smart people follow funny people, I say.
